Love all things handmade! I am in love with a new store that opened recently in downtown Halifax. It is tucked away just off the busiest shopping street, Spring Garden, in a cozy one room shop complete with a fireplace that is used for displaying some gorgeous jewelry on some branches. So why is this store so special? It promotes and sells all things handmade and gives self representing artists a place to sell their creations. I think that in the next few years there will be an increase on handmade goods as we shy away from buying mass produced products made in other countries. If you are ever in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, stop in to the Love, Me boutique on Birmingham street!
